Swaraj - Handloom Discovery Week, is an exploration of the most sustainable and healthy form of Textile manufacture, both for our bodies, and for the Planet. The traditional forms of textile is based on a local economy model, involving entire communities, from use of native organic cotton and organic dies, to individuals and families contributing every step of the way, from hand spinning, to handloom weaving, to dyeing, to produce the most wearable fabrics known to man.
Join the Bhoomi Community on Friday the 7 th of April, 2017 to get to know more about Bhoomi programmes including the Postgraduate Diploma programmes offered.
The program will be a workshop where a community of repairers, volunteers and visitors will come together for repairing household items.
