Sahiba Kaur is a Delhi-born upcycling artist, fashion designer, and unschooling mother, whose path shifted from the glamour of fashion to the simplicity and truth of nature. After running her own successful label for over a decade, the sparkle began to fade.
The dark truth of fashion revealed the harm it inflicts on nature and on the human psyche. This led Sahiba to embark on a 2-year immersive journey with her 6yr old son across India—unlearning within forest communities, schools, and nature-aligned spaces.
One day, during a school visit, a little girl unlocks a big revelation for her when she warmly walks upto her, smiled and gave her a silent hug. This suddenly became her moment of clarity and awakened her purpose.
Today, Sahiba lives a zero-waste, conscious lifestyle and is devoted to working with children. She believes that children are not transactional. They give from a place of pure honesty and love. If we nurture their natural connection to nature early and water this instinct of care, this will ensure a hope for a better and kinder world.
So here she is, expanding herself through Teach for Nature fellowship, offering all her gifts, creativity, and energy to nurture this seed of love in young hearts.
