Maheen Afshan

A writer at heart and by profession, she has explored many roles, but what defines her most is her love for ideas and bringing them to life. An avid reader, books shaped the way she questions and understands the world. Growing up, she found joy in gardening with her family, travelling to the hills, and listening to stories about the natural world. Over time, that love evolved into a sense of responsibility — a desire to make her surroundings greener and more conscious.

As a TFN fellow, she hopes to weave together stories and sustainability, helping children rediscover their connection to the earth in a rapidly changing world.
