What is a Good Life?

This 2 day conference was designed as a space to ask questions about the connections between our notions of a good life and relationships, happiness, economics and ecology.

  • What is a Good Life we want for ourselves?
  • How do we decide what is too much consumption
  • Is our drive to succeed as individuals harmful to our civilization and our planet?
  • Climate change is a global, political issue – how much does individual change matter?

There were workshops on “perceiving how we perceive” – connecting the dots and understanding ecological principles, through experientially focusing on process perception and also on seeing the whole picture.

Some of the leading thinkers and doers who participated were Dr. Vandana Shiva, Dr. Nandita Shah, Dr. V.S. Sreedhara, Shri Gopinath Menon, Shri Devinder Sharma and Dr. Mira Shiva.
