Simran Sethi is a dedicated nature enthusiast with a profound interest in the jungles around us. Growing up exploring the forests of Jharkhand and Odisha, she pursued her passion by working as a primate researcher in the forests of Central Himalayas in Uttarakhand, where she studied the Himalayan Langurs. However, Simran realized that her life as a wildlife researcher felt incomplete without sharing the fascinating stories of the wilderness with the world.
Driven by the dream of becoming a science communicator, Simran aims to simplify complex academic sciences to make them accessible and understandable for all. The TFN Fellowship program presented her with the perfect opportunity to fulfill this dream. Through the fellowship, Simran is committed to teaching and discussing the wonders of nature, fostering curiosity in environmental sciences among students at the grassroots level. She aspires to build a generation of environmentally aware citizens, empowered to create a better, greener, and more sustainable future.
