Priya Dharshni

Growing up in a village surrounded by hills and farmlands, Dharshni was always in awe of the natural world. Yet, they did not have access to meaningful nature education during their school and college years — an absence that now fuels their commitment to change. Dharshni believes our disconnect begins in classrooms, where nature is often taught as a subject rather than experienced as a living system we belong to.

As a TFN fellow, they hope to unlearn and rediscover their bond with nature alongside children, nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper engagement with the world around them.
