Ashima Sharma, with an MSc in Sustainable Development, is passionate about reconnecting children with nature to build a more sustainable world. She believes that nurturing children’s innate curiosity and sense of wonder can inspire them to become advocates for environmental change.
“For me, true change begins when we teach our children to love and respect nature,” Ashima often says. Her goal is to create opportunities for young minds to explore, learn, and build meaningful connections with the natural world.
Ashima envisions education extending beyond classrooms into forests, rivers, and mountains, allowing children to learn directly from nature. She hopes to inspire the next generation to live mindfully and champion sustainability, believing that when children form bonds with nature, they carry that love into adulthood and help protect the environment for future generations.
