Bhoomi’s online module is a way for Bhoomi College to continue its work of raising earth consciousness and working towards a sustainable future in the virtual space given the constraints created by the current Covid pandemic.
While Bhoomi believes in experiential learning and learning by doing, there is also an element of deep introspection and self-reflection that is considered pivotal to our approach to holistic learning. For the past decade, we at Bhoomi have been doing this by bringing people from diverse backgrounds together at our campus in Bangalore for the fellowships in Sustainable Living and Holistic Education. The fellows experience a sense of community and become co-travelers in their journey towards thinking and living sustainably. Our hope, now in these tough times, is to use the resources available to us virtually and continue to facilitate the creation of communities and promote local action on themes such as food, localization, ecological living and education for a better future.
Bhoomi hopes to achieve this by offering short online modules spanning from 4-6 weeks that are interactive and participative. Online sessions that give space for deep sharing will be coupled with hands on work that participants will be expected to complete. Additionally, there will also be reading and research material provided for each session that the participant is expected to familiarize themselves with.
If you are unable to do our fellowship at our campus and would like to be part of our online community, do check out our online module offerings
