This programme for Bhoomi students of batch 2017 will be held at a retreat centre in the Sharavathi Rainforest in central Karnataka. It will provide opportunities to commune and connect with Nature as a student - pilgrim and not as a tourist or adventurer.

Do you want to be equipped with the knowledge to grow your own herbs and vegetables?

In this workshop, we will use Tai Chi techniques, meditations and body movements to help you unpressurise and innovate a new you.
In this 2 months course you get to explore the alternative practices and processes that help in creating a learning environment that is conducive for the overall development of the child.

Basics about Millets:
The drive to learn is one of the strongest drives in every human being; it starts early and lasts till the end. However all of us do not have the same processes of learning. The requirements of the formal schooling system slots children and push them through the eye of the same needle.
"You cannot teach a child anymore than you can grow a plant".
All you can do is allow it to go forward in its own way. Children feel happy, do well and develop a 'sense of self ' when they work with their strengths. It also helps them to own the unique person that they are.
We hear of the importance of fresh greens and organic foods. Also the importance of avoiding chemical and pesticide ridden foods. What better place to get at least some wholesome foods than from your own backyard or terrace?
This Yoga workshop conducted by Yoga Guru Ramachandran, will be useful to the beginner as well as to those who wish to refresh or enhance their understanding and practice of Yoga.
Step by step sketching sessions will be offered for participants who don't feel confident or for those who do not have any previous art experience. Don't worry if you feel that you are not a 'natural' artist.
